Our Onboarding Philosophy - Partnership and Results

What is onboarding at MARKETPROVIDER? It's more than just handing over login credentials. It is a comprehensive process focused on one specific result: providing you with a fully configured, turn-key PIM system, ready to use from day one, and training your team to independently and effectively manage your product data.

The key element of this process is your dedicated Onboarding Manager. This is a MARKETPROVIDER expert who becomes an extension of your team. They take on the most complex part of the work:

  • Importing and structuring your data.
  • Configuring attributes, classifications, and categories to fit your business needs.
  • Uploading digital assets and linking them to your products.
  • Creating customized workflows for your team.
  • Setting up data export channels for your various platforms.

This doesn't mean you will be a passive observer. Onboarding is a collaborative effort. You will meet regularly with your manager to discuss goals, review progress, and provide feedback. The advantage is that you won't have to navigate the technical intricacies on your own, risking mistakes. You receive a turn-key result, overseen by a professional.

How Does the Implementation Process Work?

The entire process takes, on average, from 2 weeks to 3 months, depending on the complexity of your data and your goals. We follow a clear plan with measurable results. For example, one of our standard goals is to launch at least one data output channel (e.g., for a marketplace or website) within the first month.

Here is the step-by-step implementation plan:

Stage 1: Strategic Planning

  • Kick-off Call. We start with an introduction. Your Onboarding Manager holds a meeting to gain a deep understanding of your business goals, current processes, and data structure. Together, you define the key objectives for the PIM and agree on a project roadmap.
  • Data Analysis. You provide a sample of your data (e.g., in CSV, XLS, or XML). Our expert analyzes it and, in the next strategic meeting, proposes an optimal data architecture in MARKETPROVIDER: what attributes to create, how to organize the taxonomy, and what output formats will be needed.

Stage 2: Building and Configuring Your PIM System

At this stage, your Onboarding Manager performs the main technical work:

  • Importing the first batch of data.
  • Optimizing its structure.
  • Uploading digital assets.
  • Configuring the necessary output channels.

You will have weekly check-ins to monitor progress and ensure the system is being configured exactly to your expectations.

Stage 3: Team Training and Knowledge Transfer

Once your PIM system is configured and ready to go, we move on to training. Your manager will conduct personalized training sessions for your team. You will learn how to:

  • Independently import new data.
  • Effectively enrich product information.
  • Use workflows for collaboration.
  • Manage data syndication channels.

Stage 4: Launch and Handover

The onboarding process is complete when all initial goals are met, the system is fully functional, and your team is confident in their abilities. You receive a turn-key PIM and transition to autonomous operation.

Post-Implementation Support. We Stay With You

Our partnership doesn't end after onboarding. You get ongoing access to resources and support:
